Hello fellows! Here is my new article with some new insight and areas of discussion. We all know that life keeps going on, so our journey of reforming ourselves should also remain continue. As we struggle today, we will definitely reach a day, when we will get our targets back.
Almost each one of us would agree to the fact that invention of technology and digital applications have made our lives much easier and comfortable.
They have not only brought immense benefits for mankind. But also helped a lot of people achieve healthy lifestyles by bringing people together. Advancement in the field of technology have modified and channelized communication networks by providing digital sources of entertainment and leisure, bulk information on countless websites, online shopping and trading concept, best medical assistance online, and the opportunity of work at home.
Hence, technology intervened in every respect of human beings’ life and modified them in such a way that the way to get a healthy lifestyle became clear and a bit easy to approach.

Apart from all the above-mentioned benefits, technology brought lots of harmful impacts on our lives. Because when we start relying on something beyond the limit and get too much addicted, then we start damaging our mental peace and physical health…. And we know that a stressed mind and an unhealthy body can never let you live a healthy lifestyle.
Let’s have a look at side effects of technology and digital applications.
1. The first side effect that technology and digital applications brought into our lives is that many people around us have been deprived of their sleep, simply because they have indulged so much in using social media apps, gaming apps, and many other apps that they forget to keep track of time.
2. When most of the day is spent on the couch, and one keeps oneself busy with mobile phones, laptops, or other digital gadgets, you stop moving around, and your mobility comes at a minimum level which in the end makes a person obese and suffer from issues like joint pains.
3. When we waste a lot of time on social media, constantly peeking into other people’s lives who may appear quite perfect, then we start disliking our lives and circumstances. This consequently leads to depression that may rob our energy and motivation to keep going in life.
4. You stop paying attention to the surroundings and family members continuously while fiddling with your digital gadgets. You start becoming alone, don’t know what is happening around you, and too much attention to the screen of digital devices makes your eyes and nerves weak.
5. It is said pretty right that if you put everything on social media, you license others to peep and breach your privacy yourself. If by posting your matters on social media websites, you are telling the world about your vulnerabilities, strengths, and weaknesses; it is just an invitation for everyone to take advantage of it and ruin your life.
6. We very well know that addiction to anything is harmful. Therefore, when we get hooked on the use of technology, we stop giving time and attention to other important aspects of life such as taking care of our eating, going for regular work out sessions, making sure we maintain the sleep pattern, giving maximum time to family and work and keep finding ways to make our lives better. So, a person who is addicted to technology can never lead to a healthy lifestyle.
7. When we put too much personal information on social media, the wrong people gather this information and begin to abuse and blackmail us. The vulnerable teenagers fall into their trap easily, which ruins their lives. So, the whole idea of healthy living is automatically destroyed.
8. A person who sits in front of the computer or laptop is actually destroying his health in the most terrible way. The lesser you move, the lesser blood circulation inside your body, and moreover, your stomach stops working efficiently and you start facing problems such as acid reflux and obesity. You can also suffer from headache and eyesight problems, and lastly, your sleep patterns destroy and make your whole physical and mental health vulnerable.
9. With much information and education-related material available on the internet, it not only eased the lives of many students but also made them vulnerable to getting exposed to various unauthentic and wrong information available on different websites. This wrong information will give a wrong idea to students, hence their education suffers, which eventually makes them depressed and stressed.

Do you remember the last time you slept early and gave your body time to heal up?
When was the last time you sat with your friends and family members listened to them and shared your views?
If you don’t know the answers to these questions, then it’s time to worry for you, and you need to change your instant lifestyle.
It’s a known fact that we are not ruling our lives, instead technology rules it. For getting back the control of your life, I am giving a few tips that will help and let you amend your lifestyle.
1. Try to understand what is making you addicted and over-attached to your technologies.
2. Attempt to take back the control of your brain through a slow break.
3. Let a trusted person remind you every time you spend too much time on technology.
4. Do not let your brain get eaten by technologies; try to keep it active and attentive.
5. Try to spend more time with yourself, enabling yourself to know what you want from life and give a direction and motivation to yourself.
6. Spend time with loved ones so you won’t have to be in front of the screen that much.
7. This is a pretty handy trick: out of sight, out of mind. You could keep your mobile, laptop, and tablet in a place where you can’t see them, and it would help you forget about them and move back into a healthy routine.
Technology isn’t a bad thing; the way we use it makes it worse for us. So, being surrounded by technology, we just need to understand that we cannot make our lives weak by misusing technology. Conversely, we should use it to get a healthy lifestyle. Try to follow the above-mentioned tips and improve your lifestyle slowly but steadily.
