You are working out regularly, changing your sedentary lifestyle to an active one, eating healthy food, change your boring wardrobe to an exciting one that is just by your vibe. It means you want to achieve a healthy lifestyle and want to find out what more you need to do in this regard. 

Have you ever noticed that your self-care or beauty routine has a great impact on your lifestyle? I know many of you have never thought about it. So, today I am going to share some tips and tricks to start a self-care or beauty routine for you.

The tips and tricks that I am going to share with you people are just a gentle reminder to you that you have to take some time out of your busy schedule to take care of your beauty routine which is crucial to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

1. Wash your face, hands and feet

The first thing that everyone among us should do in the morning is to go to the washroom and wash his or her face and hands. Because rinsing your face and hands with cold or lukewarm water would freshen up your skin and make you feel better. Not only in the morning, but you should also wash your face and hands before going to bed at night, and don’t forget to wash your feet too. Because if you go to bed without cleansing yourself, you will feel low and might not sleep well. So, before going to bed try to wash your feet with lukewarm water, as it will take away the tiredness of your feet, make you feel much better, and will help you to have a good sleep. A clean start and a cleansed end of the day would improve your health.

2. Use a moisturizer

Don’t forget to use a moisturizer after cleansing your face, hands, and feet. Just like your body needs healthy food to work properly, your skin needs a good moisturizer to maintain its health and beauty. 

3. Don’t forget to exfoliate

We know that with every passing day, our surroundings are getting fuller of dust and pollution. So, simple cleansing of your skin with soap or a hand wash is not enough. Once or twice a week you should use some good exfoliator to remove dead skin cells along with dust particles that have got absorbed in your skin. You can choose an exfoliator from a wide range of products available in the market. But always make sure that you are selecting a good quality exfoliator that is not going to harm your skin in any way.

4. Natural is always best

Your natural features and skin are beautiful and you don’t need to use tons of makeup to enhance your look. While getting ready, keep in mind that natural is always best. So, use minimal makeup products on your skin and try to buy all-natural makeup products from the market. Because these products will not only fulfill the purpose of enhancing your look, but they will also let your skin breathe.

5. Have a pedicure and manicure session

A long and hectic week is over and here is the weekend. You are sitting on the couch and looking at your rough hands and feet. I know you don’t like these rough hands and feet. I can tell you what you need to do. Just pick up your mobile phone and book a pedicure and manicure session in a nearby salon. Once you have a pedicure and manicure, I know you would love to see the difference in the look of your hands and feet and your mood would automatically enhance. If you don’t want to go to the salon, you can also do a self-pedicure and self-manicure session on your balcony or your washroom and make your hands and feet live again.

6. Bathe frequently

The pollution, dust, and germs in our surroundings always pile up on our skin and make it vulnerable. Even the oil that our body excretes out of the pores of our skin also piles up on our outer skin layer and then the dust particles present in our surroundings get mixed up with this oil and block our skin pores. If you don’t take a bath so often, you will notice a few pimples every other day and many other skin issues. To avoid skin problems, you need to take a bath frequently and cleanse your skin regularly. 

7. Understand your skin

Before selecting your skin care products and cosmetics, you need to understand what type of skin you have. Your skin can be oily, dry, sensitive, or moderate. So, before selecting products for your skincare and even makeup products, you need to understand your skin type. Because it will let you avoid many skin-related complexities and let you achieve the purpose of a skincare routine.

8. Prefer natural remedies

Many times, due to the unhygienic environment in which we are living or unhealthy eating habits, we face skin problems. So, whenever you face a skin problem, instead of directly going to a doctor and asking him to prescribe you some medicine, try to use some natural remedies. Because nature has bestowed us with wonderful ingredients that can prove miraculous for our skin. For example, if you want to get rid of acne on your face start using aloe vera gel with yogurt and honey or if you want a natural glow on your skin, start using coconut oil, cucumber, turmeric, and honey. Always try to use natural remedies for pampering your skin at first hand and if you feel that the problem you are facing is beyond those natural remedies, consult a physician.

By adopting above mentioned tips and tricks, you are on the right track to get healthy and glowing skin which in turn would enhance your personality. So, everything that is boosting your personality and making you feel good is contributing toward achieving the goal of a healthy lifestyle.
